Making Handmade Birthday Cards

There are many types beautiful designed birthday cards are available in the market. But we should think about this in a different way like making handmade birthday cards.Does your birthday girl or guy possess a favorite color? Use their most favorite hue to create a special handmade birthday card! Start collecting pictures in various shades of this particular color.Rather than buying a gift in the store to provide to some someone special who’s going to commemorate his or her birthday, you may make it more meaningful by looking into making the gift yourself. With only a few affordable items, you can make a gift that would be priceless to the receiver. Check out this article to find out some affordable handmade birthday gifts.

Provide the birthday celebrant a card that you simply made yourself. Buy few sheets of construction paper, some stampers, stickers, crayons or markers. Then, reveal your creative talent making a birthday card. All you need to do is fold one of the construction papers in half, and then decorate the card. Select 1 or 2 of your favorite greetings and write these in the card. You may also make your personal greetings particularly for the celebrant. Then, decorate the card with stickers, stampers, glitters and whatever other adornments you’ve. Envelopes are also affordable, and you can put the card in an envelope or just hand it as it’s personally to the birthday celebrant.

Among the ideal unique birthday gift ideas (birthday gift like birthday cake)would be to create a scrapbook photo page for that birthday child. Within this gift project, gather the best images from the birthday celebrant and choose a style, like friends, family members, or birthday. Then, purchase a decorated construction paper in the craft store, or also buy one of these appealing scrapbook papers. Arrange the photos and glue them to the paper to keep them in place. Add adornments to your work, just as you’d with a scrapbook page. Use stickers, glitters, and different kinds of decors which would relate to your chosen theme. You can simply find these materials in the scrapbook part of the craft retailer. After you are done with the decorating, have this framed and give it to the celebrant. He or she may hang this on the wall or put it on his office desk.

Visit a thrift shop or dollar store, and buy a clear glass mug. If you do not have paints in your house, purchase a few colors and a paintbrush. Then, paint the nickname of the celebrant on the side of the mug, along with different adornments. Since the paint on the mug might not be safe in the dishwasher, this gift would serve as a decoration or as a holder for pencils on the table of the birthday celebrant.

Inked Embossed Birthday Card: When I started my blog in March, I had no idea what kind of response I would get.  So, today I'm super happy to have over 10,000 page views.  Thank you for taking the time to view my work.  It's the small things in life that make me happy!!! This Inked Embossed Birthday Card was made for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge CFC60 titled: Text me and the Moxie Fab World Birthday Stamping challenge. To create this card I inked up the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder with Hero Arts chalk ink in Iris and then I ran it through my Texture Boutique machine by Sizzix.  Essentially this stamped and embossed the image at the same time.  It has a distressed look to it that I like but I thought it needed some colour.  To add some colour I embossed a couple of small sections and fussy cut the images, punched a couple of small flowers and added some bling to finish it off.

Punched Flower Birthday Card: Every crafting stash needs a couple of great flower punches. Punches make it easy to add detail to your card designs. This Punched Flower Birthday Card was made using the Blossom Punch and Mixed Bunch stamp set from Stampin' Up! The inspiration for this card came from the Tuesday Trigger: A Plate of Pretty Poppies from Moxie Fab World. To create this card I punched the white cardstock, then stamped the coral cardstock and then framed the image.  The 3/4" circle is stamped but it's hard to tell from the photo.  I went with a monochromatic colour scheme to keep it simple.  Sometimes, I'm a big fan of the less is more approach.Punched Flower Birthday Card Supplies: White cardstock, calypso coral cardstock, riding hood red cardstock and vintage floral designer series paper by Stampin' Up!, blossom punch and mixed bunch stamp set by Stampin' Up!, ColorBox chalk ink in warm red by Clearsnap, sentiment stamp by Hero Arts (classic messages, CL414), calypso coral twine by Stampin' Up!, Sticko dimensional sticker (dots pastels, 52-20021), and stampin' dimensionals.
