Rumours about the next iPhone started mushrooming soon after the launch of the new iPad from Apple. Apple would be holding their iPhone 5 event on September 12, 2012. iPhone 5 pre-orders are currently planned to begin that same day, at least in the U.S. Release is still planned for 9 days later, on September 21, 2012. The new iPhone will hit international markets in the first week of October, around October 5.
Starting with strong hints of release this year, the rumours went on to hint a June launch as per very recent reports. However, since fresh gossip refutes those reports by stating that we may be looking at an October launch as per indications from the Foxconn HR head, June or October seems to be the most probable release dates for iPhone 5 as of now.
